I don't have a lot to show for the past few weeks but I did this last night. I picked up this great watercolor book by Alwyn Crawshaw. Here are the first two "practice" sketches I've done.
They are something to be proud of--loose and free-looking. Were they ink first then paint, or paint first then ink? I have used both approaches depending on the situation.
