Practice

I don't have a lot to show for the past few weeks but I did this last night. I picked up this great watercolor book by Alwyn Crawshaw. Here are the first two "practice" sketches I've done.

From the deck

This is the view from the deck of the B&B I stayed in while in Cape Cod. I was hoping to get more time to draw while I was there but didn't. There's a half done sketch I may try and finish another time. Oh, that is a crane in the upper right corner. They were putting the top back on the building that weekend.

Ceiling Light

I drew this in bed one night after I had been staring at the ceiling. I know what it looks like but really it's a light. :) Cracks in the ceiling and all.
