January 1-figure sketching

One big focus of mine lately has been to improve my people sketch. Both figures and portraits. So I spent time today using 30 second posematics and pose generator, a twig and ink as well as a pocket brush pen. 

What a great way to ring in the new year!!

2014 review

 

I have been so fortunate to have another wonderful year. Below are 12 sketches, one from each month. Some have already been posted some not. 

Each a moment I am grateful for and am more grateful that I started drawing. 

It's enabled me to save moments, meet new people, travel and have life where I am more present in the world than I was before I started. 

Thanks to everyone who has visited, commented and supported me. It is much appreciated and the reason I keep posting!!!

I had such a great weekend in Ithaca for the meeting of urban sketchers from Toronto, KW, Montreal  NY, NJ, Rochester, Seneca Falls, Elmira and Ithaca ( I hope I haven't left anyone out)

 

We were a very productive group sketching day and night!
