Wine Bottle

The colors on this are a little off from the scan. The actual is a bit darker.
Definitely fun for the first try at watercolors. Oh and the wine is really good too!!

That's great! I use a W&N Cotman travel set for all of my small watercolor sketches, though I use a porcelain plate for mixing. It's so convenient. Scanned colors are usually off though sometimes the color can be edited in Photoshop. My camera shots are truer, but the pages aren't flat.

Not to worry, you still did a great job with your wine bottle, especially the highlights and colors.

Watercolor obviously agrees with you - I bet you're kicking yourself for letting that set sit for so long! I love the really loose quality and the lineowrk and highlights are amazing.
