I love it, Genine...the utility wires give it an edgy reality. And I'm with you, wish I had the time or money for a wonderful, relaxed sketching vacation! I don't think I'd want to take a package deal, but ooooh, the luxury of time and location! My Thanksgiving "honeymoon" in California was in fact one evening, that night in a hotel, and then the following morning at the beach, then jump right into reality. Got a lot of sketching done in that short time, though!
I really love your work, the combination of the pen line & watercolor is really quite beautiful. By the way, I'm originally from the Rochester, NY area too (LeRoy, actually)!

Another incredibly delightful sketch. I must agree with Kate that the wires DO add to the charm!
Fantastic sketch, very real with that soft watery edgy-ness - great job - and Yes I would love a sketch vaca too!!
I haven't been to your blog in a while and enjoyed looking around again. You have some VERY nice work posted. Thanks.
Your work is wonderful something to aspire to - I like the frames on your journal pages
