I spent 4 nights in Rome, 2 in Cinque Terre and then a week in Tuscany. A truly amazing, humbling experience. I was fortunate meet and rent a room from a fellow EDMer Barbara. It crazy how the internet helps connects us all over the world. I am so glad I got a chance to meet and spend time with her and her family.

What a wonderful way to chronicle a trip. Spending the time to sketch what you see instead of snapping a photo and running I'm sure makes for a much more memorable time.
It sounds like Italy welcomed you with open arms. Brava for the sketches. It's always hard to stop just looking and draw. I particularly like your treatment of the umbrella pines.
What wonderful travel photos!! Sounds like a wonderful trip and you managed to capture so much of it in such a meaningful way.
Absolutely breathtaking Genine! Italy is one of the most recommended countries to visit if you're anywhere near Europe. I am definitely coming back for that someday, but I dread visiting some place new alone.
The drawings are awesome, I love the colors, the fine lines and details, the values are great!
Wonderful sketches and memories for you to have! I love the coliseum and the trees. Takes me back to a few years ago when I was visiting Rome. I have photos, but no sketches :(
Beautiful work and love the pines - I remember them well from my trip there. Glad I've discovered your blog, really lovely work.
What beautiful sketches these are! It's a great way to remember your trip.
FAB drawings. I REALLY want to go to Rome. So I'm a bit jealous.
