I stopped to sketch on the way to Meg's show tonight. The trees in the darkness caught my eye. I added the color when i got home that night.

Still using the new Hero M86

Beautifully composed.
As for your question on how to draw human face... hmmm, I don't know any book, but all I can say is that practice practice practice =) That's what I did at least

Lovely sketches - I like your style.

Re; your question on EDM, have a look here: http://artyfactory.org/portraits/drawing_techniques/proportions_of_a_head_1.htm

Also try to think in terms of drawing a head, rather than a face. My other advice would be to look at lots of other artists and make copies of their drawings to see how they handled it. You are allowed to do this so long as you don't publish the results and never try to pass off the work as your own. (which I'm sure you wouldn't do, but it's always worth saying ;-))
