Castanea (chestnut)

I wasn't sure if I was going to post this. The scanner output is definitely different. Maybe I'll try and take a photo and repost. It's really different working on real watercolor paper. This was done on Arches 140lb CP.

I have just enjoyed going through all your sketches right back to the first one. Your work is really lovely. I ,like you ,pick up natural objects from the floor and draw them. loved your acorns, pod and chestnut and leaves. It is interesting seeing NY finds, as I live in the countryside. I too would love to go through your finished sketch book, well done.

This is really well done. The colors are exceptional, especially the browns.

These watercolor journaly pages are very engaging- and your paintings are really good. :)
